I have morning glories planted on my patio in a big planter but all I see are big green leaves! Why do I not get flowers?

Morning glories flower best in full sun, in poor, dry soils. Too much of a good thing (fertilizer or water) will result in green foliage at the expense of flowers. Make sure your plant is getting sunshine all day long and refrain from feeding it. Water only when the top inch of soil has dried out and you should see an improvement soon.
