The Q&A Archives: frost

Question: my shrubs turned brown after a frost. should i trim all the brown back to green shrub

Answer: Although I know you'd like to get outside and remove all the frost damage from your plants, I'd suggest waiting a few weeks - just in case more frosty weather arrives. By mid-February temperatures should be back to normal and you can prune away all the winter damage. Best wishes with your landscape!
