Both plants should be watered sparingly in the winter months. They don't need much water because they're not actively growing. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. I usually water thoroughly and then pick up the pot so I know how heavy it is when the soil is wet. Then I periodically pick up the pot to see how light it is becoming. When it feels light and the top of the soil is dry, it's time to water. Hope this information helps!
