I just spread mulch in my flower beds last summer & the mulch still looks good but there are alot of leaves on top that need to be raked. How do i rake the leaves w/o raking up the mulch? Do i just need to spread more mulch?

A leaf rake will allow you to remove the leaves - or if you have a leaf blower, that will work, too. If the leaves are small and difficult to rake, you might try carefully hosing them off the mulch. As a last-ditch effort, you might just leave them where the are. The leaves will decompose on their own and become part of the mulch.
