I bought some asiatic lily bulbs that have already started sprouting with top growth. Should I cut off the new growth before I plant them or plant them as is? Here in upstate SC we will have several more hard freezes so I don't know what would be best. Thanks for your help!

Leave the sprouts on the bulbs. They will stop growing once they get out of the warm and brightly lit store an into a cooler place. Set them in your garage or some other cool, dark place and wait until the threat of frost is over. When soil and air temperature start warming, plant the bulbs. They should be just fine. Enjoy!
