I have three hydrangeas planted in my yard. I palnted them tree years ago and they still have not bloomed. What am I doing wrong?

The most common reason for your hydrangea not to bloom is winter damage. These bloom on old wood that grew the previous year, so if winter kills back the plant then there will be few or no blooms. For the same reason, pruning in spring can limit or eliminate blooming. Many varieties are root hardy in zone 5 bit not stem hardy, so I suspect hardiness is the problem rather than siting or care. I'm sorry.
