Prunning Knock out roses - Knowledgebase Question

My Knock out rose bush is over 6 feet in height. Can it be safely prunned and when and how much? thanks

Wow! Your knockout roses must be happy campers! You can safely prune them back by about one third now. If you need to further reduce the size, prune it back later this summer. And, if you need to reduce it even further, prune again this coming winter. By next spring your plants should be a much more manageable size.
