I have a four year old rose bush that had some very fragrant ,pale pink roses on it. But this month that rose bush has all deep pink and not as fragrant roses! What in the world could cause a thing like that?

China Roses change color as they mature, so perhaps yours is one of these hybrids. The fragrance becomes more apparent later in the season than in the early spring, mainly because the warmth of the sun helps release the oils in the rose petals. Sounds asthough your rose bush is just doing what it's supposed to do!
