| I live along Hood Canal with about 200 feet of west facing steep bank covered by thick ivy. Last year I ripped out the ivy, exposing large rocks used to stabilize the bank. What should I plant to replace the ivy, both in the rockery areas and other fairly steep areas without rocks? Sandy soil, western exposure, 5 to 40 feet above the salt water. Desire NW-friendly plants that will stabilize bank. |
