Shrubs - Knowledgebase Question

Give me some names of shrubs that bloom, similar to the bush roses, but one that the Japanese Beetles doesn't particular like. The neighbor has crape myrtles all up the side of my yard and they are covered with Japanese Beetles so I'm taking up all my roses. Thanks.
