I am the lucky owner of two Boxers and they love to run around in my back yard which is large. This winter was very wet and my grass was really torn up. What type of grass seed should I use that likes the wear and tear of my dogs?

Kentucky Blue, fescue or perennial ryegrasses are all good varieties for your gardening region. You might be happiest with a mixture of these grasses for a sturdy lawn. I'd rake out anything that's torn up and sow the seeds in March or April. Best wishes with your lawn!
