I have at least 20 yucca's in my yard that I just hate how do I get rid of them |
The best way to get rid of the yuccas is to dig them out, roots and all. The yucca root system remains compact, extending as the clump expands. It shouldn't venture out too far from the plant. If new plants pop up some distance from the original, it's because seeds have been planted either by birds or by the wind. To avoid this in your yard, cut down the flowering stem as soon as the flowers fade and before seeds have a chance to develop. |
