Can areca palms be cut down, and expect new growth? They are all dry after the recent freeze in Oviedo, Florida. I've got 6 of them.

You can remove any winter freeze damage and your palms should recover within a few weeks. Remove only the fronds, not the center or top of the plant because that's where new growth will emerge. Best wishes with your landscape!
