I live in Metro Minnesota and want to seed start tomatoes and annual flowers this year. When would be the time to plant the seeds indoors. |
Generally, tomatoes are started about 8-12 weeks before transplanting them outside after the last frost date. Other seeds may take longer or shorter periods of time. Check the backs of the seed packets for approximate sowing times for each annual you want to grow. Your last frost date is about Memorial Day so count backwards from that target date and you'll know exactly when to start your seeds indoors. Good luck with your seed starting! |
