my pygmy leaves are turning brown. Not enough water or not enough sun?

If the oldest, lowest fronds are turning brown, it's a natural occurance. Simply cut them off the plant. If the newest leaves are browning, it could be lack of water or frost damage. Pygmy date palms like lots of moisture so be sure to water deeply at least once a week during the growing season.
