I have no idea of what I'm doing. I am using a mini-home green house thing. I have planted the seeds. They are all growing. the next step in the directions say to cut the true leaves...What does that mean? |
When seeds germinate they send up what are called seed leaves. They usually produce one set of seed leaves and then they send up true leaves. When seedlings have developed three or four sets of true leaves you can pinch the very top of the stem out and the main stem will branch out. I don't know what plants you are growing but you shouldn't have to cut the leaves at all. Hope this answers your question. If not, feel free to submit more questions! |
