Our lawn is a mess from the dog running and playing...clumps of grass jut rip up when he's running and stopping. We can't seem to get seed to grow b/c there is no way we can stop him from running on it. We need a grass that forms deep roots quickly and holds up well to a lot of traffic. I'm not too concerned about brown spots due to urine...I just want grassm, not mud! |
I wish there were an easy answer but as long as your dog has access to the lawn, it will continue to look bad. Sometimes people fence off part of their yard, renovate the grass and then allow their dogs on that part while they renovate the other side of the yard. Perhaps another solution is to keep a permanent dog run and renovate your entire yard all at once. Wish I had a better solution! |
