The Q&A Archives: How should I trim knock-out roses?

Question: I have 5 beautiful shrubs, now in place for two years. How and when should I trim them? I live in Jacksonville, FL Zone 9

Answer: Knock Out roses can be pruned back at anytime of the year. They take well to hard pruning if they are overgrown, or you can simply trim them back slightly every few months. However you approach the task, they will rebound in no time and provide you with lots of new foliage and flowers. Enjoy!
