The Q&A Archives: Cherry Trees

Question: When should I prune my cherry trees? They are getting very tall and big.

Answer: Prune your cherry trees in the winter when they are dormant. In the spring they will produce lots of new growth. You can selectively prune out some branches during the summer months, but save your major pruning for the winter months. Best wishes with your cherry trees.
