You can plant bare roses now and containerized roses at any time of the year. Dig a hole large enough to accommodate the roots and set the plant in the hole. Backfill with the soil you removed while digging the hole and tamp the soil down around the roots of the rose. Then water well to help settle the soil. Be sure to choose the sunniest spot available - roses need lots of sunshine. Best wishes with your new roses!
