It's usually safe to count back 6-8 weeks from your projected last frost of the season and start your seeds indoors then. For instance, if your usual last frost is May 15th, you can start seeds indoors on March 15th. These are just general guidelines, and most seed packages will list suggested indoor sowing dates for each specific seed type. Hope you have a great garden this summer!
