What is the best fertilizer for avocado trees? Our tree produced fruit 2 years ago but last year there was nothing

There are specialized fertilizer formulations for avocado trees. If that is not available, you can use a citrus tree fertilizer. Be sure to apply in amounts as suggested on the fertilizer label. It isn't unusual for avocado trees to go into a alternate year bearing cycle. This sometimes happens when the crop is especially large. The tree will take a year off and then produce normally again. Just be patient with your tree. I suspect it will bear a normal crop this year. Enjoy!
