On average, how much space would it take to grow 200-250 ears of sweet corn?

This depends on the variety you grow and how well you grow it; some varieties such as Breeder's Choice and Ruby Queen produce a greater a proportion of stalks with two ears apiece; the rest have only one. Each corn stalk will take two feet of space in which to grow. So you will either need 125 corn plants if you choose Breeder's Choice or ruby Queen and 250 plants of other varieties to get your target number of ears of corn. Hope this information is helpful!
