There's no easy answer to your question! If you are an organic gardener, aged manure or compost can be used for every plant and your lawn, as well. Or you can use one of the manufactured fertilizers which contain all the necessary nutrients such as meat meal, hydrolyzed feather meal, bone meal, blood meal and sulfate of potash. One brand is Nature Safe All-Purpose Fertilizer and is pelleted for easy application. Or, you can use one of the commercial all purpose fertilizers available under the names Scott's, Miracle-Gro, Vigoro, etc. These are also available in liquid or granular formulations. Whichever product you choose, be sure to apply in amounts as recommended on the label. Best wishes with your garden!
