Hi,
I want to have some green plants inside my house. Last spring, I bought a potted plant, and I saw bugs and ants for the first time.
what do I need to do to prevent / minimize bugs?
Is there a special dirt, or chemicals to kill these bugs? Help!
Thanks,
Theresa

Any new plant can introduce insect pests into your home. The best way to prevent this is to isolate new plants until you are sure they are pest free. I would repot the plants with fresh potting soil and then rinse them well under running water to remove any pests and their eggs. Your clean plants in clean soil should not continue to have pest problems. Best wishes with your indoor garden!
