I have a large bag of bone meal but am not sure how to use it best. Which plants do I fertilize it with and how often and what amounts?

Bone meal is a material made from ground animal bone (usually cattle) and used as an organic fertilizer with an NPK ratio of 4-21-0.2. Most gardeners sprinkle about one cup of bone meal per 100 square feet of garden. Scratch it into the soil with a rake or cultivator. Apply on an annual basis.
