| The compost will provide nutrients to the plant roots as it decomposes so your plants should be just fine without additional fertilizers. If you feel the need to fertilize, you can use an all purpose fertilizer such as Miracle Gro, or you can simply spread another few inches of compost over the soil between your plants to act as a mulch.
