| Arbutus trees do not normally drip sap so I suspect the sap is coming from an injury - either insect or disease or even mechanical wounds. Inspect the plants for signs of insects or insect eggs or for evidence of fungus. You might want to take a sample of the problem to your local Cooperative Extension office for positive diagnosis and control strategies. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Best wishes with your trees! |
