Can you recommend some hardy office plants? I'm about to move into a space with fluorescent lights and I need something to brighten the place up. I'd prefer small flowers and dark green leaves.

Have you considered 'China Doll'? (Radermachera sinica) It's a fairly easy plant to grow in bright light and average temperatures (minimum 55F degrees). Keep the potting soil moist and watch it grow! You might also try Cineraria, Bouvardia, or Heliotrope. Each of these plants will do well with minimum care in an office setting.
