River birch is a good choice, as are red maple, yellow buckeye, catalpa, weeping bottlebrush, honey locust, sourwood, southern magnolia, pin oak, sweet bay, weeping willow, American basswood, sweetgum and dawn redwood. Best wishes with your landscape!
