Your plant is Syringa vulgaris ?Lavender Lady?, also called Lavendar Lady French Lilac. It grows best in full sunshine, reaches 10-12 feet in height and width, and is most valued for its extremely fragrant single purple blooms which open in early to mid-May, and its dark green foliage. If you keep the lower limbs pruned off it will develop an upright trunk with a canopy of foliage and flowers, just like a tree. If you do not remove the lower limbs, it will be a bush. Hope this answers your question!
