I not reallysure what kind of grass I have but it is sod and 6 yrs old. I do know it is in need of aeriation and it is under stress in some areas. I also know it needs to be leveled drainage is difficult. |
I would suggest renting a plug aerator and going over your lawn. It will remove small plugs which you can leave on the surface of the lawn - they will dissolve in a week or two. After aerating, spread some sand over the lawn. The sand will rinse down into the aeration holes, helping to solve the drainage problems. Wait a few weeks and then feed your lawn. You should notice a big difference in the appearance of your lawn. Enjoy! |
