I bought a pink Weeping Cherry Tree 5 years ago. The first 4 years the blooms were pink, but this year they are white. Any idea what caused this change?

I can think of two things that could cause a dramatic color change: extremely cloudy or sunny weather, because plant pigments respond to light changes; that the flowering scion of the tree is grafted onto a rootstock of another flowering cherry, and the rootstock is sending up flowering shoots. Soil pH changes affect flower color in some plants (hydrangeas), and sometimes viruses and nutritional deficiencies result in plant discoloration, but if the tree is healthy, those are my only ideas.
