The Q&A Archives: Poa Annua

Question: How can I get rid of Poa Annua in a hybrid Bermuda lawn? I used a pre-emergent last Fall, but the stuff is thriving! I'm in the Atlanta, GA area.

Answer: Annual bluegrass will die out when the weather gets warm or you can hand pull it, roots and all, or you can apply a product called Image. Be sure to follow label directions to make sure it is safe to use on the type of turfgrass you are growing. Best wishes with your lawn!
