When should I plant a boxwood?

You can plant landscape trees and shrubs any time the ground is not frozen. We recommend spring and fall as being the best planting times. That's when temperatures are cool and rainfall usually abundant, both of which make it easier for plants to establish their root systems in their new homes. You can plant now and your boxwood will be ready to grow when spring weather arrives.
