The Q&A Archives: Starting Seeds for Greenhouse Growing

Question: Hi-When will I be successful planting seeds in our greenhouse. I would like to start tomatoes and peppers. I do NOT want to use the heater.
Thank you,

Answer: Seeds require fairly high and consistent soil temperatures (an average of 70F) to germinate properly. I suggest that you germinate the seeds indoors and then move them to the greenhouse after they have germinated.
