| I have a large potted Benjamin fig which I keep on my porch. Most of the plant was apparently killed by a recent frost; most of the branches are brown with no gree leaves, but there are many green leaves at various places on the plant. Can I save this plant? If yes, what do I need to do. |
| Your fig should make a full recovery and eventually you will want to prune out the winter kill. I'd wait until new growth appears - which may be retarded by several months. Once you know what is dead and what is alive, you can remove the dead branches and prune the remaining plant into a more symmetrical shape. Best wishes with your landscape! |
