I'm interested in purchasing an olive tree, but I don't know where to find one. Also, I'm not really sure if they can be grown in Florida. |
According to the Extension Service in Florida, olive trees do not do particularly well in Florida. One reference I consulted said they will grow, but will not produce olives, in warm, humid climates. Two places you may be able to purchase olive trees (and get further growing requirements/instructions) are: Flowery Branch, PO Box 1330, Flowery Branch, GA 30542, ph# 404-536-8380 Logee's Greenhouses, 141 North St., Danielson, CT 06239, ph# 203-774-8038 Good Luck! |
