I'm interested in purchasing an olive tree, but I don't know where to find one. Also, I'm not really sure if they can be grown in Florida.

According to the Extension Service in Florida, olive trees do not do particularly well in Florida. One reference I consulted said they will grow, but will not produce olives, in warm, humid climates. Two places you may be able to purchase olive trees (and get further growing requirements/instructions) are:

Flowery Branch, PO Box 1330, Flowery Branch, GA 30542, ph# 404-536-8380

Logee's Greenhouses, 141 North St., Danielson, CT 06239, ph# 203-774-8038

Good Luck!
