The Q&A Archives: Pocketbook Plants

Question: What is the best environment to attempt to grow "pocketbook" (Calceolaria) plants in?

Answer: Pocketbook plants do best in a sunny east or west window--they like bright light and some direct sun, but not strong sun all day. They like a temperature of 60 to 70F and will suffer in very hot, dry air. Keep soil evenly moist, but not soggy. Hope this helps!
