| Just received response regarding pawpaw tree suckers. I forgot to tell you they are apparently coming off the roots out away from the tree. |
| Suckers are suckers, whether they come from the roots, the main limbs, or the base of the tree. Mowing them down might be an option but I would still vote for digging down and pulling them off to keep them from resprouting. Best wishes with your paw paw tree. |
