| I have rosebushes that line my driveway. They are bordered on the other side by my lawn. Over the years the grass has creeped its way into the rosebushes and is taking over the rosebushes. What is the best way to rid the rosebushes of grass? Is there a spray we can use that will not harm the rosebushes? |
| I think hand pulling and then putting up a barrier between your rose bed and your lawn is the best solution but you can use a natural weed killer if you feel the need to spray. The only coup is that you'll end up pulling out the dead grass and roots anyway, so you may just want to forego the use of a weed killer. There is a product on the market called Natural Weed Control. It is a mixture of 20% vinegar and orange oil. It will kill the grass without harming your rose bushes, just as long as you make sure not get any overspray on the petals or the leaves of the roses.
