Last year, every time I planted flowers, caterpillars them. We had a huge influx of moths last spring and I think this is why. Can you let me know some flowers that caterpillars don't like? I think I'm in zone 10 (92019).

There really are no plants, aside from cactus, that some type of caterpillar doesn't find attractive at some time during the growing season. So, you may have to either put up with their feeding or hand pick them. Or, you can use a biocontrol called Bt (bacillus thuriengensis), sold as Dipel. It targets caterpillars but won't harm insects, pets or humans. Enjoy your garden!
