| Good questions! The shop lights will provide adequate light for your seedlings. As soon as the seeds sprout, place the lights about 2-3 inches above the tops of the plants and move the lights up as the seedlings grow. If the lights are not close enough to the seedlings they will be leggy. Keep the lights on for 12-14 hours a day and your seedlings should be stout and ready for transplant in the spring.
