6 weeks ago I layed sod grass on my yard. New grass is beggining to grow, but there is a lot of dried grass on the lawn. Should I remove (raking it) the dried grass to help the new Floratam grass grow?

The dried grass will eventually decompose and disappear, or you can wait until you mow your lawn and bag the clippings, or you can use a leaf rake to rake it away. If you leave it alone it will release nitrogen as it decomposes, which will be helpful to your lawn. Whichever method you choose - best wishes with your lawn!
