| 6 weeks ago I layed sod grass on my yard. New grass is beggining to grow, but there is a lot of dried grass on the lawn. Should I remove (raking it) the dried grass to help the new Floratam grass grow? |
| The dried grass will eventually decompose and disappear, or you can wait until you mow your lawn and bag the clippings, or you can use a leaf rake to rake it away. If you leave it alone it will release nitrogen as it decomposes, which will be helpful to your lawn. Whichever method you choose - best wishes with your lawn! |
