The Q&A Archives: Water hemlock

Question: How do I get rid of the water hemlock?

Answer: Hand pulling is the most effective way to control water hemlock. Because it grows in moist or wet places, herbicides will not be effective. If you can change the drainage around the places where water hemlock grows, it will die out, as well. So pull those nasty plants up, roots and all.
