I live in central Ohio and was wondering when I should plant grass seed (fescue). I purchased a house with a spotty yard and would like to ensure that the seed takes and I can turn my yard into one that the next buyer will love.
Thank you!

You can sow grass seed now and it will germinate when the soil temperatures warm up later this month. Spring rains will help, but be sure to water the seedbed well after sowing to help the seeds make good contact with the soil. Best wishes with your new lawn!
