I planted rhubarb last year and believe animals ate the leaves and stalks. But the root balls should still be down there in the ground. When should I see new growth if it is going to come back this year? I live in Kansas City - zone 5.

It should come back when the weather warms up a bit. If you see no new growth by the end of April, the roots did not survive and you may have to replant. Let's hope it sprouts soon!
