do indoor house plants do better with room temperture water, because my special tap that I have to bypass my water softener, only gives me very cold well water, right now I put it in jugs to let it warm up, but if my houseplants dont mind the very cold water I can stop this extra step. By the way, this is Wisconsin winter time so thats why my tap is sooo cold!!! Thanks for tha help. |
Since you have the option of allowing the water to warm to room temperature before using, that's what I would recommend. Some plants are not particular, but most houseplants are tropical in nature and really appreciate room temperature or tepid water as opposed to ice water. Why not fill your watering can the night before and then water your plants with room temperature water? I'm sure they will appreciate it! |
