Planning a garden for herbs & vegetables, would like to have a tree or bush to flank the ends. Can you recommend a full sun tree that will not hurt the growth & produce development of herbs & vegetables?

I understand your desire to make your garden look attractive with focal point trees or shrubs, but herbs and vegetables need all the sunshine they can get and I'm afraid that planting trees or large shrubs might cast too much shade on the garden, especially as they grow and mature. Instead, why not plant a sun loving plant such as lavender on the edges of your garden? They love sunshine and their flowers will attract bees, which will also help pollinate the flowers of your vegetables. Enjoy your garden!
