My grass is a mess due to the snow, very sparce. I want a full, green grassy yard. What can I do?

The first step is to allow the soil to dry out before walking on the lawn or doing any work to it. Once it has drained, rake well to remove dead grass and roots and then overseed the entire lawn. Choose a grass seed similar to what you are already growing. After the seeds are up and ready to mow, mow the lawn and then fertilize it. It should grow thick and healthy over the late spring and early summer months. Best wishes with your lawn!
